This club is pertained to TCCA. It was formed by Master Peng Wen, who is in the US to teach Zhao Bao Tai Chi. Zhao Bao Tai Chi originates from Zhao Bao village, near Wu Dang Mountain, the source of Taoist philosophy and wide acknowledged also as the source of internal martial arts. The only non-family-surname branch of Tai Chi, Zhao Bao traces its ancestry back to Zhang San-Feng, and is believed to be the oldest form of Tai Chi in practice today.

While other styles of Tai Chi have become popular due to their spread outside of China, Zhao Bao has til this date not spread itself across the world. However, this has changed recently, as the 2006 and 2007 push-hands champions in China are both Zhao Bao practitioners, and this has drawn interest from the world to this heretofore relatively unknown style of Tai Chi.

Master Peng Wen formed the USA Tai Chi Club with the students of his first three school locations (Fremont, Milpitas, Sunnyvale), and was incorporated in 2007. Members of the club traveled to the international Tai Chi conference held June, 2007 at Wu Dang Mountain (WuDangShan Hotel) and Xi'An.
